At Voxworks, we build voice agents that sound like real Aussies. Our mission is to completely banish clunky IVR menus, hold music and offshore call centre agents from Australian shores. Our proprietary voice engine delivers smart, natural-sounding AI that talks to your customers and follows the script that you decide.
Our platform and service offering is built upon two simple foundations.
First, unlike other companies wrapping over top of US-based AI voice APIs, we built our own backbone AI voice engine infrastructure that orchestrates the complex dance of running several AI models to simulate a real human conversation dynamics. This tooling give us complete control over what our AI voice agents say, how they sound and ultimately how realistic they are.
Second, we bolted our voice engine to a modern, intuitive UI that gives users full flexibility to design authentic conversations within their guardrails, with proper context, and to manage the results of thousands of customer calls to meet their business objectives. Owning our own AI voice infrastructure gives us ultimate flexibility to design digital experiences that make handling AI voice agents super easy.
The result is an automated system that sounds human, handles phone calls that were previously missed, outsourced or late, fully controlled by our self-service app.
We started Voxworks because we didn't think it would be that hard. We saw what was happening offshore and we thought we could do better. Perhaps we were right about that, but we were certainly wrong in thinking it would be easy.
Fundamentally, Australia deserves its own AI telecom platform that is purpose-built for the local market. We subscribe to the idea of Sovereign AI, that Australia should have its own locally-owned AI providers at the forefront of delivering AI technology to Australian businesses.
We built a world-class, telecom-grade AI voice service designed for Australia's infrastructure and regulatory environment, with local support and compliance.
Most importantly, due to the extensive finetuning and testing of our platform within the Australian environment, we find Voxworks' voice conversations are more natural sounding than anything else on the market. Because when it comes to deploying AI voice in the real world, particularly with discerning and skeptical Aussies, "close enough" simply isn't good enough.
We're a small team based in Sydney, with backgrounds in engineering, finance and software development. We care about beautiful digital design, high performance automated systems, no-compromise security standards, and pushing the limits of what AI can do in real-world business environments.
